Best comment I've seen in a while. So true. All that music today is all gombity-grombity-gromb - back in the the day(when people really cared about music) it was like shahbita-weasely-shav. Thank you wonderfulhuman you made me laugh.

I agree with you on that one. I grew up in this area of REAL MUSIC and I'm so glad I grew up listening to people like Black Ivory,James Brown,Ohio Players,The Moments,The Rascals, and The Spinners. GREAT TIMES,GREAT MUSIC

i agree with ya man, this is good but open your minds up to the new music thats out there surely every thing new isn't shit, you just gotta look further than the media to find it.

And the assumption that I don't play music comes from where?I really meant popular music anyway when I said 'crap music today' there's a lot of good less known music.

wonderfulhuman161 (August 17, 2008 at 2:15 am)

So sweet and then so HEAVY! What a great band! I used to think Sly in the 70s was missing the energy he had in the 60s, but this proved me wrong -- he got mellow and richer with age like wine (or got funkier with age like cheese.)

DOes anybody ever say anything other than: "why dont they make music like this anymore? all music today sucks". Can't you think of anything original to say? Every old tune has this post. I love this too- but say something different for a change. |
