Underrated local Boston band that has been kicking ass for the last 2 decades. Always touring.....just bought my tix for the Paradise club in Boston. Saw them back in 95 with the Lemonheads. Great show accept for the pogoing college kids when all we wanted to do was mosh!!!

A underrated band. In Germany hardly no one nows this band even they are so cool. They have a new album out. Nowadays I seldom buy new CDs but their one I would.

The Bottom Forty is a great program. At least you're getting into Buffalo Tom now...Pretty great band. Since you are from Portland you might be interested to know that Elliot Smith used to cover a couple of songs off of Let me Come Over. In addition to the albums that squinkue mentioned, Big Red Letter Day is pretty good as well.

Yeah that's good stuff, like I said bfo, Let Me Come Over pretty much sustained me at times . . . an underrated rock classic. To be honest I've never seen the above vid bfo, I got into BT when listening to a couple of great, now lost, "modern rock" stations outta Mpls in the early 90's. I kinda lost track of BT after Big Red Letter Day. I do see emusic has a bunch of their stuff available.

Believe it or not I had actually never heard of them until very recently--about six months ago--when the radio station I listen to (94.7 in Portland) played "Saving Grace" during The Bottom Forty--which is hard to explain until you've listened to it, but it's described in the bumpers for the show as "non-denominational radio"--and I was like "Oh my god, who is that? That's awesome." |
