Get the album called 'Dirty.' It's probably their grungiest album - so if you liked Nirvana or Smashing pumpkins back in the day... get that album. There are also beautiful tracks on there... like Theresa's sound-world. The other hits on that album are: 100%, drunken butterfly, sugar kane, youth against fascism, Chapel hill, JC and Purr amongst other tracks. so many excellent songs... an album under-appreciated but probably their best.. get Dirty... its so Sonic!

I enjoy the right/left speaker guitar work on Jet Set and Washing Machines. This is special though. Thanks for posting.

Daydream Nation. It's their best for sure. None of their albums are terrible but some are way better than others. Definetly pick up a copy of Daydream Nation (I own an ORIGINAL vinyl copy!!). Goo is also a great one. Anything pre-1993 is going to be great for sure. The newer stuff is still good, just not AS good.

they're god-like because they're so experimental and original.

lol "grungerocker101", if you don't see a problem with that sort of clique identification, you really need to find a Grunge 101 class for yourself. |
