after i saw this video i began to wonder, its so good to be superintelligent? at what cost? most of the people who have this savant syndrome are mental deficient and the ugliest people i ever seen. and i wonder too if it isn't better to be superintelligent than pretty looking...

I saw this guy in another tv interview. he learn a difficult language in one week... amazing. if i remember right he's a savant not since birth, he had a cerebral apoplexy and after that he just had this skills. blessed. so this potential lies in every brain... the problem is how to unlock it. besides rain man, the movie phenomenon has the same savant topic. nice film.
