The video didn't say if the Fring contact was via the mobile network (data) or via wifi. I suspect it was the former. SIP is usually very good. Comparing it with toytown Skype isn't a proper comparison since,AFAIK,the Skype on 'Three' isn't really Skype to Skype it is a callback system,i.e. once the call is initiated there is a call made back to the calling mobile to complete the connection. Further, the data usage for a real Skype to Skype call is much greater than for SIP.

Well, I get 300 mins and 300 texts for £10/month on Virgin - you have to be a VirginMedia customer however. So 1000p/300mins = 3.33'p/minThe data is dead expensive though...whereas 'Three' charge about £5/GB, Virgin charge the equivalent of 2 THOUSAND pounds a GB!!
