russmanx: i know he doesn't sing on the albums,well, maybe a little on a few songs, but he was always shown singing into a microphone in concerts. i was just wondering if he sang at all as we can clearly hear an extra voice (maybe someone backstage singing?)you are sooooooo right about how he should've had more bass solos--he really is good. one of the reasons why i've seen this video so many times:)

is john actually singing in this or is he just pretending to?? it really looks like he isn't:( i'd love to hear him sing no matter how good or bad he is. great bass solo, though!!!!!!!!

Great statement but I will disagree with you regarding Roger Daltrey being a boring front man! I saw them in 76 and he had that mic cord a spinnin' and twirlin' :-) Stay cool!

Great comment!! And like many I also love both versions of the band with Freddy OR Paul... my faves will always be the first 2 Queen albums though. Anyway... I just wanted to add to this thread something not many folks talk about and that's just how good of a percussionist Roger Taylor is!! I'm a git player and not a drummer so not an expert but to me the guy just SMOKES!!! Plus he was the one doing all the insanely high pitched vocals. Damn, I've loved this band since forever...RIP FM
