thats a really bad shot to use in a game. it looks really easy to block because your pushin the ball up instead of shooting and releasing it high up.

Hey guys who want to be a perfect shooter. Get this DVD and TRY this method. I didn't really understand the Swish 1, but Swish 2 really worked. I played basketball today at gym and didn't miss a shot. Thanks Tom!

Guide hand just guides the ball to the "release position". Don't use any part of ur guide hand other than bringing it to the position.I got this from the Andy Enfield Shooting dvd. He is one of the best shooting coaches. He coaches Dwayne Wade to Paul Pierce on shooting and the list of his clients could go on forever.Allnetshooting is his website, u should visit his website if your interested in shooting. His shooting dvd is considered to be the best on the market(breaks shooting down).

Aim at the "Center of the rim" the big whole cause that's where u want ur shots to go through. Remember that "2 BASKETBALLS CAN FIT ALMOST AT ONCE IN ONE BASKET".

Dear Tom, I want to try out for my basketball highschool team, but I don't think my shooting is good enough. I can shoot from the diagonal side of the court, but when i shoot my free throws, it tends to go too short, or to the side of the box on the back board. How do I practice my accuracy of my shot and make them from all angles?

It's all about the guide hand. I had a nice touch and decent form on my shot but I could never figure out what to do with my guide hand. It shouldn't be called the guide hand but the DEVIL HAND.

they just want to show how the form looks like. you dont have to jump if you want to shw how the form looks like

Just see the "whole" basket and have the idea of shooting high and coming in softly to the center of the basket. I would suggest softening your vision, not staring at front or back rims, since you don't want to hit them. See the whole, the body will know what to do. -- Tom

back rim or front of the rim more advanced players in this video aim for the space between the hole. u have to be imaginative and b able 2 see the ball going through the hole before u shoot
