Apparently its hard for them to play it live as its such a loved song by the fans, who will cheer oblivious about its meaning, but its a song about absolute despair and darkness. "Like taking your dog to be put down and watching it wag its tail on the way there."

ddosBass, if you read Yorke's thoughts on this songs, you will find that he thinks it be one of Radiohead's most powerful and most underestimated/unnapreciated songs....He says to the effect, if our fans felt the same way as I do about this song, they would not love it so much
