I respect that you have your own opinion, but I believe he wasn't a true asshole. Well, not all the time. Yeah, he had his moments, but mostly he was a great guy, doing so much work and caring for others. He was a complex, yet absolutely lovable character. You just have to see past the dark side to find his light. And trust me, it's bright :). That's my feelings on Brian.

Hunter sells his body and sexual abilities to men. He's 14/15 yrs I guess. Mickael and Ben try to get him out of the street. He has aids (we learn that later). He knew the young guy (prostitute as him) who was found dead in the garbage restaurant. He knew the murderer (a gay cop in fact). Brian and he looked for a mean to have DNA evidence against the cop. So hunter made out with him in order to have his sperm.
