@houlala: Chief executive officer Guillaume Pepy of the SNCF (French railway company) is considering the Velaro as successor for the old TGV-Trains. Watch this source: Google "Siemens Velaro Wikipedia"Hehe...you are talking such a bullshit, little princess....Why should we buy an old TGV when our trains are 15 years ahead ??

France has no money for the development of a Maglev. Germany and Japan have. China and USA will buy. France will keep on going with it's old TGV from the 80s.

But nothing compares to the German Transrapid, the only sytem available for speeds between 500-600 km in commercial use. It's optimal economical point of speed is 550 km/h. But much more important is it's capacity to accelerate in 120 seconds up to 400 km/h. It needs just 3,5 km to do so, traditionell commercial highspeedtrains needs 30km. Beside this the Transrapid works absolute vibrationless and silent (look, how the Reporters above have to cry to understand each other).
