I actually heard a band the other day that was rather optimistic, and had meaningful powerful lyrics and very very powerful vocal delivery. Forward thinking I suppose but not in a societal regard.The band is called "Hey Rosetta!" go check them out and listen to their songs "Red Heart" and "A Thousand Suns". I think you'll feel good about both tracks.

I don't know, throw on the radio. You'll probably catch some John Mayer or something and it'll make you feel better. As a musician I can state that you've got to be feeling something to make anything worthwhile. With the world in the state it's in ("with everything going on") I can tell you there are probably not a whole lot of people that are optimistic enough to write "powerful forward thinking words we can share with each other". Go dig up some 60's or 70's vinyl - hippy stuff.

granted the lyrcs are fairly ambiguous, but thats half what i love about them; you find your own individual meaning in the words, its poetry not a motivational seminar.

i'm so sick of bands like this... there are so many right now. depresso music. lyrics that have some cool lines but don't really add up to anything. if it does something for you cool... it's just so overdone and with everything going on in the world i'm feeling the need for some meaningful powerful forward thinking words we can share with each other. ya know? :)peace.
