What i'm saying is, anime fall under the category of cartoons. If you look up anime in a dictionary or wikipedia, you'll see Japanese CARTOONS. I'm not saying that every single cartoon is anime. Same thing for manga. Look it up in the dictionary and you'll see japanese COMICS.
