Yes, leave out the Ajinnomoto (MSG). The dish already has so much flavour, why MSG is needed, I cannot understand - unless it is just tradition when ingredients were less available and MSG was used to enhance flavours to make up for the smaller portions of ingredients. That is not a problem today when so many ingredients are available and in large quantities. Substitution is also encouraged now whereas traditional cooking emphasised strict adherence to recipes. |
