The problem with Russian/Soviet hardware is that is was/is always made on the cheap. Unreliable, often times dangerous/fatal to crews. I'll give you the AK dynasty though, unbeatable weapons, and the T-34. Maybe with your new found oil wealth you can fix up that broken down military and kept all the reactors in your mothballed sub fleet from rusting through the bottom of the hulls.

Russia has the worlds most advanced and powerful missile systems. The T90 tank has all of its stats above the Abram, ecsept the penetration power, but that is only because the Abram uses DU and the Russians chose to delay the application of those weapons until all out war. "Old school" defeated Georgia, a westernized military in 5 days. American weapons American training, American soldiers... 5 days.
