I have done the research. That's why I know you are wrong. People are healthier elsewhere because most people here eat crap. I eat unprocessed healthy food, plenty of protein (like the bodybuilders only a little less) and am healthier now than I have been my whole adult life. Blood tests don't lie.To answer your question, humans are designed to eat fat and protein. It's the reason we survived & thrived before the advent of agriculture.

carbs care not? U say that human being are designed to eat high carb does that mean we should eat high animal protein? Not to mention manp countries in the world in the freaking world that have little animal not no animal at all are actually more healthy then people in the States. We eat mostly highly processed carbs that are basically junks, are u got realized that. High animal protein consumption will linked to affluent diseases and that's a fact and the atkins fears. Do the research!

Because it's a lifestyle, not a diet. You add some carbs back in over time (mostly berries and such),but as a lifestyle you never go back to how you were before. It's all in the book. The upper limit for net carbs is 90g a day, and that's for people who exercise regularly.Read the book. It's all laid out there. A lot of people assume a lot of stuff about Atkins that isn't true because they've never read the book.BTW, the diet isn't just based on protein. Both protein & fat are important

how much animal protein do u eat in a day?if you are off carbs for two weeks and back on it after how different does it from a typical american diet?

Have a healthy breakfast, a balanced protein meal, no carb no sugar and that will decide your appetite for the day. You wont feel tired during the day, no craving for sugar and energy.. and you will lose weight very fast in a very healthy manner !

how stupid is this are some people.. i get my carb from meat...yes ur right.. u don't need carb or pure carb.. or like rice or wheat or whatever..meat, eggs, and vege and fruit... that's all u need and water..
