REnt "John Entwistle - An Ox's Tale." magnificent bio on him, and in it you will hear Townsend say flat out about Entwistle that "John realzied he had the power to change the fucking instrument." What most people also forget is that he was more than a bassist; he was a horn player (French horn and English horn) as well. He was truly a gifted musician.
