It's a rarity to find an original UK Bell release, as Bell was a U.S.-based label (which explains why you've seen David Cassidy records there, Valzoom).Interesting tune. My friend, veteran Reggae artist Keeling Beckford actually introduced me to this track.- Professor DLC

David Cassidy used that label too. Great to see it again!

How odd. Two dirty sods on the same label.

"bring vinyl back they f****d us over after vinyl died they upt the prices ever since."Actually, theres hardly any difference in price. A vinyl album in 1978 cost £4.25. A CD today costs about £16. If you work out the relative value of £4.25 in 1978 in todays money, using RPI you get about £16.85, and using average (UK) earnings you get about £27!

Very jolly, lots of fun. Takes me back to Uni in the early 90s, when 'The Mossettes', 4 women who shared a house in Mossford Street, would perform 'concerts' at their houseparties, getting up on a table and singing along to music. They included this, with the lead singer giving it new lyrics about her boyfriend (and she did a lovely little wiggle when she sang it...) |
