I saw him on Monday night (10/27/08) in Atlanta and he was great, and by far, by far, by far the highlight was The Pretender. He had the band and equipment to be rock & roll loud, but knows how to use it. He started with just piano, and then built it to rock, then stopped, playing softly again.... and bang, back into almost hard rock, on and on. The sound system was perfect and all 2,000 people were on there feet clapping and singing. Great show. Not Springsteen, but who is? Very good.

Show some compassion, good grief. This is a beautiful song written when he was going through a horrible time in his life. It amazes me how many people are out there with no compassion for others. No wonder the state of the world is such a mess.

My apologies, I was rather drunk, had been watching some Jerry Lee Lewis clips when he really pissed, so I guess I had taken that attitude. On the other hand, that Robin Williams shit is kind of freaky man, you must not get out much. My stomach's rumbling, think I'll fuck off and die-whatever bro.

scottymacIII:I saw that you like G.G. Allin and another of your favourites is Flea murdering a great song, "The Needle and the Damage Done" which was written by Neil Young, and sung beautifully by him.Proves you know fuck all, plus have no taste.Do you, like G.G. eat shit?I suggest you do.

"He cried when he did this at the Festival Theatre in Adelaide in '76. His wife had suicided some time before and he was thinking of her.He did a 3hr gig; it was masterly."That is a report on the state of J.B. when he did that gig. There isn't an iota of self-pity in it, or me.Don't jump to conclusions, don't fear your emotions or those of others, which it seems you do, and have a nice day, me boy. |
