no, i read an interview in which BJ said he hated john for leaving the band and never talked to him again, BJ said green day almost broke up after he left the band and he never liked him personally

al was with the band from the start, he helped them get shows because he was really popular and a veteran of the punk scene, he left in 91 for college, and BJ has never talked to him since

al was in green day(Sweet Children) till the 1990,then he left,and another guy filled in:Dave E.C.Dave was in the band for only two weeks,then Tre Cool filled in,and The "Trio" became complete
