...and who truly knows the art of covering and how to treat the passaggio. Without him I wouldn't be on stage today. I owe him everything!

I'm a student of his teacher, Mr Erik Saedén, bass-baritone who sang frequently with Mrs Nilsson and Mr Björling (and studied for the same teachers as they) and so many others. He himself a very great singer and actor who chose to remain in Sweden because of his love for his family. A very great number of Sweden's good singers have studied for him. He is now above eighty but sounds and walks like he was 50. A great authority!

Standin' and deliverin'! The way it's meant to be done. No smoke, no mirrors - just good singing and commitment.

"the best don Ottavio in the history of opera"Oh, I thought I was alone in thinking this, a Stockholm girl, fangirling 'our' tenor.I'm so happy seeing other people agreeing with me.For me, he's up there with Alfredo Kraus.I miss him every day.

i just read that he saw his first opera when he was 24. He had never sang in his life, and was so moved by the experience that he signed up for singing lessons and the rest is history...
