This was an abusive term in England at the time, so it got "Alternate Title" to hit the charts. Mentions Micky Dolenz's first wife, Samantha ("girl in yellow dress/being known as wonder girl")who he met on Top of the Pops. Terrific number.

They did sing the songs. Only Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork were natural musicians and songwriters. Davey Jones and Mickey Dolenz were what we call are "prettyfaces".Nesmith wrote the song "A Different Song" sung by Linda Rondstandt.Nesmith wrote some of the songs, so far Neil Diamond wrote most of them.

IN those days the monkeys were just designed to be against the beatles, as long as i know none of them were musicians, singers o composers they just move their mouths and theri bodies pretending to be playing thers songs. time never forgive
