yea i have used 6013 its alright but i like 7014 but the best looking welds and the easyiest to weld with is 7024 for sure but i am more of a mig and tig welder myself

Basically and roughly true, his welds looked like crap, though, and he didn't mention the effect of running too hot or cold on weld strength.

Personally I like 7024, the beads come out like 6013 but nicer.

I can't really say much out of experience because i am just learning to weld, but i know i like 6013 better. Every once in a while a weird type of electrode pops up in welding class that give a new effect, it's fun to try them out.

I've never used 6013, I'll have to though. That's what 7014 feels like for me though. |
