What a triumphant night!! The context of this experience, seing the BOYS LIVE for us here in the US was great, remember the country was mourning JFK dead back then, during the Xmas of 63 the first Beatles LP was release as holiday present for everyone, the first and then, 60 days later they were Hereee..it was awsome. Almost 70% of kids heard about them but never saw them live or on Tv before except on the news clip-ins. This was it!

What a humble contrast to those massive stage sets used today. But couldn't somebody do better than that rickety little drum platform that swiveled? For the Beatles, it was all about the music, not about egos. Take a look at their rooftop concert years later. World famous, they didn't care about the cramped space, all the wires and the people hanging all over them. It was all about the music.
