That's so not true Ed Speleers is one of the most beautiful actors if seen and he was perfect for the role.

oh seriously get over yourselfs. I saw the movie and read the first to books and even though it has alot of mistaces i love the movie. i f you guys just don't see the movie with the book and think of it seperatly u'll like it too. so stop ruining it the book is even way to long for a movie so they had to shorten it somehow. so stop whining and make a better movie if you find it that bad. get a life and just watch the great movie again but don't compare it to the book u'll might even love it too

this movie is messed up. the gedway ignasia is a silver mark on his palm. that was a scar. saphira is bigger and her flames are blue not red. eragon in this movie is too pretty, and brom should be older. this is a pathetic excuse for eragon, eldest, and brisingr (which i am reading now) plus the forth book. arya is supposed to be amazingly beautiful, unlike any human. saphira looks too skinny. the book helped me imagine what it should look like, and this is not it.
