It appears in this video that they are targeting some of the docking proteins on HIV itself. Without those proteins the virus cannot enter cells to infect them.The problem is in that in previously infected people the viral RNA product is already IN the target cells, and has been incorporated into the host cell DNA. As long as that cell lives, it can produce HIV viruses.So you either must kill the infected cells, or wait for them to die. Memory B and T cells can live for years.

There are a fortunate very few who are functionally immune to HIV. Their cells lack two receptors, CCR5 & CXCR4. Without those receptors HIV has a very hard time entering the cells they infect. That DOES NOT MEAN they do not HAVE HIV. It means that the infection is at such a low level that they do not develop AIDs.There is a great deal of research going into blocking or downregulating those receptors to give people functional immunity.

We can make you highly resistant to them, and then your body handles killing them off (vaccines).The problem is that HIV targets the cells in your body most needed to help your body fight off viral infections (B-cells CD4+ T cells).A vaccine does you little good if the cells you need most to produce antibodies are the ones infected by the virus.

The real fact is HIV is not ascare, rather it is real, you can get it if your gay or homosexual, and if you have sex w avirgin it will NOT get rid of HIV. any fluids contaning semen, blood, breast milk, vaginal fluids, and anal fluid contain HIV therefore a condomm MUST be used. please dont get me started on this facism shit dude, thast a load of bullshit.
