Yes Hittle can redshirt, but I don't think she will. She may very well be used for backrow duties, since she is better in the backrow than the front. I'll send you a link to a message board that you would probably enjoy taking part in, since there is topics on UH women's volleyball on that site.

I don't think Herring will redshirt. The only player that will probably redshirt next season is Hewitt. I should note that, Shoji has also said that Herring will contribute right away.
