Theyre much more borken in now. As for lambs wool, Now Im using a little lambs wool and a cut off sock. My second toe is longer than my big toe, and the lambs wool helps me balance that out a bit more

Thoese shoes may not be the best for you. They may just need to be broken in. Crack the arches so then you can dance eaiser. Lamb's wool can slide around when dancing so i dont use it. Try to sit forward as much and hold your butt under. Good for first pair! Keep dancing!

We learn the Vaganova method also, so although we do excersise rolling through demi, When we do echappes, sous sous, etc. We "spring" onto pointe

I have Grishkos, it is possible to roll through demi. The shoes merely need to be broken in properly.

I have an newer video now, and one that I will be posting soon. But thank you!

I know it is very hard when you first start pointe, but your shoes don't look that broken in. I don't know how much dancing you have done since this video was posted, but talk to your teacher about breaking in your shoes. Other than that... keep dancing!

Theyre Grishkos, so rolling through demi is almost impossible.Yeah, Ive started dancing on the kitchen floor

work on breaking in your demi's, and be careful where your dancing, dancing on a book is probably not the most stable surface. great job though! |
