"Police arrested two men Sunday in possession of homemade low-explosive 'ping-pong' bombs and other weapons including hand grenades and handgun ammunition.Police also found PAD guard identification cards, and they said the duo confessed to being volunteer guards for the Peoples' Alliance.Mr Sondhi said that one of the two was formerly a PAD guard but was dismissed by PAD core leader Chamlong Srimuang some time ago because he tended to use violence when on duty."(Bangkok Post, Nov. 10, 2008)

Domanter, err... how can one overthrow a country? So, if you think DEMOCRACY is only meant for 4 year term and then new election, you should learn more about democracy.Democracy doesn't stop at the outcome of the election and let the politicians do anything they want to the country without listening to people.Nobody has anymore rights than the other. ..The exact reason PAD has been doing is for the love of our country. We didn't vote for them to manipulate the power!

they pantarmarn had to understand what "DEMOCRACY" means because they are not doing that, they want to overthrown the country, also one of them asked me to join and they said they will pay me 5k baths per month, how's that the "GREAT" people? they went there for money and get free food. You gotta learn the word DEMORCRACY and follow the rules, after 4 years then there will be another election, rules are rules, don't break them if you love your country.

About the elected govt...In the past, even up until now, most Thais do not trust the electoral process. They believe that the electoral process can be easily exploited by vote buying through the patronage system. They view the democracy as nothing more than money politics.Protesters view that they buy votes and hope to form government and run the public office. Once in power, they try to recoup their investment from the election.

To: Raynilson1, kelli, tnayahporn....The politicians are the liabilities of our democratic system. If the politicians are clean and really work for the progress of the country, there wont be any street demonstrations. They cant be brought to jail easily because Thailands rule of law is slow.....

TO kelli19940607.....These Pantamit guys are professional protestors, their boss is oppossition party.Besides, most of the protestors are jobless, pensioners and uneducated fellows.
