....watched a game of American Football here in the UK. I could say it was the most riveting, intelligent, exciting sport I have ever seen. But I can't, so I won't. It's only saving grace was there were plenty of ad breaks to break the monotony...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well thats true it does stop start. But so does tennis and cricket etc. Its not that they arent good athletes its just the nature of the game. They dont really rest either they are being told which play to do next etc. And it isnt in other countries as its a relatively new sport compared to soccer and rugby. Its harder to pick due to the equipment and specific training. Also Soccer and rugby was largely spread through British and European imperialism before the 40's.
