i think all the keyboard companies got together in the 70s and 80s and all decided to use the same midi system so if any keyboard or rack has midi it can connect to any other whatever the brand is

Hey i know this is possibly a really dumb question, but i dont know much at all about sunths and such. With the rack what kind of keyboard do you need to go with it, Does it have to be a clavia or could you just something else, maybe something a bit cheaper, or am i just way off hear with everything.:/ If someone could help steer me in the right direction that would be great.

It does sound very close to a real analogue synth. The oscillators are more stable so there is less grittyness and it doest sound as "liquidy" but its close. Sounds more juicy than liquidy :D

it doesn´t sound like a real analog synth, but it it sounds great in it´s own way. i appreciate the nord lead very much! it´s a very useful synth. vst ? it´s true, there are very good ones. but the nord lead has character, sounds good, feels good and you can get really deep into it. not many plug ins can offer that. btw i think it´s easier to concentrate on sound without staring onto a screen all the time.

I like the sound, it's very nice.

I am more into analog synths, but the Nord is a solid synth which is worth buying. |
