Jason Whitlock is dead on right! Rev. Al Sharpton with this situation had a great chance to preach race reconciliation with the repentance of Imus. Instead, as usual he inflamed the situation for media attention. MLK preached not only black empowerment but also sitting down at the table of brotherhood. I don't hear that part of the message echoed by our present day black leaders. Thank God for Obama's approach.

This is Originally Part 1Well Huskerjeff, not that I need to respond, but i will, just to be nice.Say what you want about Sharpton & Jackson, They are aleast trying to be "leaders" to carry the MLK legacy.
ChrisRadio (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Part Vp.s. Whitlock didn't say those comments to either Sharpton or Jackson's faces, So it's easy to talk shit when they aren't around, but all that does is make him even more of a house negro, negra, nigga, ect;
ChrisRadio (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Part IVWhite Media gravitate to Sharpton & Jackson, because they recognize them as "black leaders" but until Whitlock mans up and wants to be a leader, then he needs to get involved and stop being a nice guy puppet to fox news, and Start getting involved in what's going on in the black communities.

Part IIIEven as critical as Bill Cosby has been about the state of black american affairs, He does participate in forums and also give money to HBCU's (Historically. Black. College. Universities)
ChrisRadio (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Part IIWhitlock works for fox (republican) news and works with mostly white colleagues and when news shows like Hannity & Holmes or Bill O'Reilly wants to discuss racial issues, he's the poster boy of the "nice black guy" but doesn't help, nor participate, in any forum, discussing black american relations of any kind. The guy doesn't even try to help.
