lol, its not night vision, its just a fancy flashlight with a camera on it. and of course the infared camera wont see anything in the dark, if you moved in front of it then it would because it records infared which only comes from heat such as your body

Ok, for the high school dropout populations who seem to be commenting on here:The LED array is NOT that hard to build (if you paid attention in High School and can follow simple instructions). It produces an INVISIBLE IR light source, but the security camera is configured to "see" in the IR spectrum in order to record at night w/o light. By wiring the camera into the Viewfinder, it then translates what the camera sees into video that you CAN see. No camera=Pitch black. Not that hard.
