I love at 2:32 that C# octave played about 42 times in a row. Which would be pretty ridiculous if it were anyones music besides liszt

The one thing all top artists have common, whether Oscar Peterson, Liszt, Pavarotti, Micheal Jackson, Elvis, Oistrakh etc.. is that they exaggerated, every chord, slur, phrase etc in a way moves thousands worlwide. That's their secret. That's what makes them special.

i know! i often think this when listening to liszt. he only composes this pieces to make every other pianist feel bad

I will play transcendental etude no.4 and 10 next yeard and the Mazeppa is the most difficult to interpret and play . I am going learn it this summer .Best performer of this Etude , Amazing Liszt , Etude no.10 and Boris Berezovsky and their hands .

For me it sounds a bit unnaturally, too exegerated.But I really like the passion of his playing off course.

I wonder what liszt was thinking when he composed this. Probably something like : "take that you #$%^s!!!" hahaha! ... absolutely brilliant perfomance by Berezovsky
