lol obviously they are not overrated or talked about because look at the comment from Smackedtwice... the way I see it, wherever you go Clapton is in your face, and everyone talks about him like he is truly the best, and hes not. I used to watch Clapton's hands trying to see what the big fuss is about, and he is doing the most simple blues licks straight out of a B.B. King book. The way he plays takes no effort an builds little intensity. So thats why I use that word, "lame"

Well I dont like Clapton all that much, I really think he is overated and overtalked about, sorry I mean he is just so basic, and lame also. I understand he had his place in the blues timeline and did alot for rock and blues, but his time as king was only short lived... then came Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson... see my point?
