oh cliff. man... that was wrong how he died. and Dimebag, getting shot like that. its like John Lennon(another person on the list) but happened live with people around. Richie's was the most messed up. Plus, he was the youngest with a bright future ahead of him. Jasons tale is among others, so the thought of giving up isn't there. Hes fighting it and fighting hard. thats strong.

although randy didn't die from it, his cocaine use was gonna catch up to him eventually. richie valens though, terrrible story. a man terrified of planes dies the first time he steps into one. brad nowell, herion overdose 2 weeks before sublime's self titled album came out. probably his greatest success, and he didn't get to live to see it. Cliff burton had no control over his fate either. none the less, all accidental deaths that could of been prevented one way or another. jason, had no chance.

yea. more better if he dies now to end the suffering with such a thing. but that is something i'd say if i knew he felt that way, which he may not all the way but hes still working with music with technology help and hes done so much good. i only hope the best. and with people who didn't expect it coming thing, Randy Rhoads and Richie Valens are two others in the same vote, died of no drug relations they use

yea it is sad. he did nothing to deserve such a disease. i mean, you look back at some of the greats who have died. and you think of how hendrix died from heroin...all the drugs he was doing, he had it coming. but jason, i don't know much about his personal life, but he sure as hell doesn't seem like a druggie.

i've heard the albums which were great for the prog metal syle but til Music for Speeding, he killed it. as well as making megadeth pop with Risk. He actually can't do Tornado of Souls as he used to.
santacruezz (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
you read somewhere he is doing J pop i assume...he did J pop right...but I mean his solo records..which are phenomenal..music for speeding or Loudspeaker for example...you probably know scenes from 1992 or dragons kiss from 1988...
MetallicTheater93 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
dude, hes doing j-pop. how can you listen to that kinda shit. hes killed Tornado of Souls now. hes lost it.
MetallicTheater93 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
i know. Marty is great anymore. Hes lost it. the others i named, those people got talent. sad Jason lost his playing ability. such great talent gone from such a disease. and at a early age too.
santacruezz (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
NO, simpy not true. Of course Jason surpassed Marty, No Debate. But Marty made Jason realize his whole potential, he taught him so much...nothing techniquewise..but phrasing, which is more important. And I have to add I really love Marty's solo work after Megadeath best stuff since cacophony days and some of it being even better.

yea really, have you heard marty's new version of tornado of souls? crap compared to the megadeth days.... |
