the tabla sounds perfect, too. Manoranjani - sounds kinda like Locrian on the way up. Then I get lost. I'm going to have to listen to this a long time.

The kriti is Atukaradani in Manoranjani.

Its not sitar or guitar. It is a south indian instrument called Veena.
