can i say it... "my gramma had one of those". and yes, i didn't live the era but i was 'fostered' by folks of that era and yeh, that pretty much corresponds with their information, among the items, tall tales and other things. yep, those were the days my friends.... i still remember the bonds, ration tickets and many other documents of that time they showed me and the effects still trailed onto the 70s in many things.

Great vid but you forgot one thing. The hats!They could get extravagant with the clothes so they made the hats extravagant as possible. I love this era and thanks for doing this amazing vid.

This is when ready-to-wear was created in the US because women couldn't get clothes from Paris anymore because most of the fashion houses had close. So they had to make their own clothes.
