She was trying to make a point, mind you, a very stupid point, and she just made herself out to be the biggest dumb-ass alive. The earth isn't flat. Duh. And you can still be a Christian and believe in some form of evolution. I don't believe we came from monkeys, but there is certainly evidence from across the world to prove that humans have gone through stages in advancement.
