Everyone desires for good for themselves. Such desires alone is very natural as far as every individual life is concerned, to try to exist, and to exist better than others in the surroundings, even if it takes to challenge, defeat and destroy. Even animals demonstrate such natural desires, male lions fight one another to obtain their pride of lionesses for one self instead of sharing.

Why would Buddhist monks do that? Isn't that presenting something which is not true? I would sure hate to have my followers tell others that I was obese after I die. |
