All outstanding musicians. What more can you say about George Benson. He is, what he wants to be...... and that happens to be outstanding! It's very healthy to keep your mind active,... in all aspects of life.

There is no one better nor has there been than George and McCoy. Some as good but different, but not better. Fantastic drummer! I don't know why some of you boys don't care for him but the kind of drumming I like improving over. One thing about George's pop playing is that it brought jazz to the masses. I see nothing wrong with that. Most of the standards us jazz players like to play over were once pop greats. Great chords and melodies in those older tunes

First time I hear Mr Benson playing this in his album "Tenderly". He plays mainstream jazz standard songs with his own style. His fast playing, sounds and remarkable Mixolydian scale (he's master at that!) is so brilliant!! Anyway in my favorite video list there's a video about Mr Benson come into friend's house and sings. Amazing voice.
