You can still die if you are eating. The recommended daily calorie intake for a female is 2000 - some people have died eating around 900 calories a day, because it still counts as a starvation diet, and it still completely breaks down your body.

Sometimes when the patient starts to acknowledge that he/she has a problem, they start to eat and take medications and yet in many severe cases it becomes too late for their health to get better once more and sadly they end up dead.

I know about anorexia and the fact that it is a mental, psychological problem and yet I didn't swear at people who don't know about anorexia like you just did in order to be heard. Behave and watch your language before you criticize the lack of awareness of others.

Now I found this on BBCactive.Caraline is dying of anorexia/bulimia. As a child she was forced to perform oral sex on her father. She feels that if she was slim enough nobody would be able to hurt her any more.
