Nobody worships idols. They may worship God THROUGH a murti, but the object of worship is always God. In the same way, Muslims aren't worshiping the rug they prostrate themselves on, it's just a tool used to worship God.Salaam

you don't get it.. not everybody is the same.. abrahamic faiths (judaism, christianity, islam) all have a "one-size fits all" approach and that's why it is always in conflict. Hinduism appeals to people of all levels, walks of life. The "rituals" are for people who are very devotional.. intellectual people follow the scriptures, and real seekers of truth PRACTICE (Sadhana) to REALIZE the truth. This is why Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma) is called the TIMELESS ORDER!

Perhaps the text translation would be helpful , as the interspersed translation breaks the blissful rhythm of the speech ; the music works with the english , but the sound of the chanting is better pure, sounds reverberating in silence , silence reverberating in sound.

What are you speaking about? This video is just beautiful chanting of very famous Sanskrit passages in verse and prose along with english translation, some interpretations and nice pictures. If you don't know Sanskrit or you can't enjoy divine sound vibrations along with nice views it is just your problem. Thanks again for people who gave this video for us.
