hey, I was not actually commenting on you, I was on the londasgt's comments.. These are the people that need to leave the site if they have nothing positive to say. I am in remission now and I can see it from both sides.. It is a struggle every day for me and I just dont understand people that say its for attention.. sorry if I offended you. It was not my intention.

Some of you who have suffered from anorexia are saying that others who have opposing thoughts should not visit. We have an opinon. Just like you do. It unfortunate though, that many of you are going to do what likely put you in that position in the first place: having a weak mind unable to have the will to seek out the underlying problem and control your life and needs positively. For those of you who are not anorexic because of vanity. Bless you and I wish your strength. The others...wake up.

I have said at least twice that vanity is not always the reason for anorexia. Bottom line: You dont just catch anorexia like cancer or ms. And maybe it would be taken more seriously if less people would whine about how they stopped eating when they wanted to look like some skinny model. Give me a break. Try getting yourself together and get some mental and psychological support to treat the root of the problem.

I get where you are coming from but I have suffered from anorexia since I was 19. I am now 31 and have twin girls, I have not stopped eating to get thin... It started with depression and then went from there... I certainly dont want attention, in fact I wish everyone would leave me alone.... I dont want to go out of my house, so I dont do it for the attention.. Nor do most of the other people who suffer from it.

I'm genuinlly shocked to see that some people think that people suffering from anorexia are simply attention seekers. I did at least think that in this day and age people had become more accepting.If attention is all that someone with ana is after, then why do the sufferers go to such great lengths to conceal what they're doing?It's not for attention or vanity, it's a mental illness brought on by varying causes and anyone to say otherwise has no real knowledge of what they're talking about.

Also, if you claim your not asking for attention when you start to become "anorexic" then don't deny that your doing to try to look like a photoshopped body, its not going to work.hasn't multimedia classes taught you anything? also, if you seriously think guys are that picky of you than you are completely wrong we only act that picky when were around our buddies, its actually pretty disgusting to see a girl that skinny, there are a couple of them in my school and i gag when i see them.

Anorexia is not a medical, physical or mental problem. It is just a plea for attention, the only time you should be allowed to say you have a problem with eating food is in one or more of these cases:1.) Beat by your parents when you tried to eat food2.) Damage to the brain (ANOREXIA IS NOT ONE OF THESE OR EVEN CLOSE, ITS NOT ANYTHING)3.) Anything that touches your taste buds hurts

My friend died of anorexia last year when I was with her- She had been put in hopital and was on life support, I was with her holding her hand, and in just one moment she died, right infront of me, and i felt her hand go so cold. Anorexia is more of a disease than attention, although that can be the case sometimes. Even the attention seeking cases can become the disease, so personally I dont thnk anyone should say shit all about it unless they know what they're saying,Touching video. x |
