I never said it was too dangerous, I said the mission would have been dangerous but Nasa would have done it IF they had seriously considered that the shuttle was damaged. I never said that I wouldn't have launched a rescue mission or try to save them. You are the one who thinks that for a space shuttle to launch all jump aboard and flip some switches.

No dude... no matter what I say you're going to have an argument, even though it's obvious to anyone who knows what happened you're talking out your ass and are arguing for the sake of arguing because you can't admit you might just be wrong. And the reason I'm throwing insults is because of your constant insistance that trying to save their lives was too dangerous and the implication that letting them die was the better option. No what I seem to think is that you're a dick who has no idea what he is talking about, is trying to act like he does, and is arguing for the sake of arguing. See the report NASA was given which INCLUDED a complete overhaul of the management, which was a major cause of the problem. Concern was voiced about the foam impact and requests were made to use satellites to check the wing. Those were denied by upper management. Had they said yes they could have gone forward. Done with your sad ass.

They knew that something hit it but they never thought the foam could damage it. Foam has struck the shuttle thousands of times and every time it was ok. As for Atlantis that too would be very dangerous, for 1 thing whats stop Atlantis from getting damages, then there is the dangerous space walks to get the crew to Atlantis. What you seem to think is that Nasa knew it was damage and just didn't care which is stupid.

And instead of at least trying, they did nothing. And now we're down another shuttle and the lives of all those astronauts. Your argument is epic fail dude. The point I was trying to make is they KNEW Columbia was possibly damaged. They could have immedietly scrambled on Atlanits. And we know it's columbia ass, it was a typo.
