Lola Angst - Am I dead?

While touring through Europe, ALEXANDER GOLDMANN (former Mastermind of KAMIKAZE52/ FEELING B) accompanied by his electronic church organ called „LOLA", he meets REINER SCHIRNER (BLIND PASSSENGER) in Berlin. Infected by GOLDMANN´s unconventional and ruffian-romantic energy, Schirner decides to lock himself together with this extraordinary Punk-Organist up for six month in Berlin „Loom Studio". Their debut single „AM I DEAD?" is spinning on turntables from London to Tokyo sweeping „LOLA ANGST" on top of all newcomers in the Dark Electro DJ and Fan scene.The album „ THE COUNCIL OF LOVE" has been generated analog without application of the usual computer sequencer and preset sounds. To give LOLA Angst it´s distinguish sound, SCHIRNER spend one month in New York streets and backyards to record innumerable sounds from which the pulsing leadsounds for „THE COUNCIL OF LOVE" has been generated. In combination with outmoded analog synthesizers and a primordial LINN drum mashine arises the unique, brute but appealing sound, that has become rare on contemporary productions. Dark, hostile soundscapes are combined with provoking lyrics and GOLDMANNs strikingly mechanical voice. The catchy and danceble tracks are particular stunning since they lack all boring banality known in most club hits. The gracious dancing of two russian ballerinas is added for optical embelischment.SCHIRNER, who has taken pledge from the stage and worked as producer since the spilt of Blind Passenger, has joined the „FAMILIE ANGST" for their energetic live performances.On the forthcoming tour the 12-tins LOLA army transporter, the newhome of the fire spitting organ, the „ FAMILIE ANGST"is accompanied by the camera team of CHRISTIAN DROMMER to take a LOLA ANGST move which will be in cinemas at the end of 2006 to take stock of this extensive tour and the extraordinary venues.Feedback from scene media is quite promising. LOLA ANGST is newcomer of the month in the Zillo Magazine, in Sonic Seducer they achieve the 3rd ranking in the soundcheck and Synthetics has published a LOLA ANGST cover and titel story in their february issue, to name a few.
