I bet this caused such a frightening sensation across the globe like war of the worlds....very creepy and atmospheric...the vampire very grotesque and the effect with the shadow is ingenious even when there was no technology....only the moon light and camera light to catch the eerie scenes...brilliant shocker that still causes a chill down the spine...and of course the music gives it even more knife edge feel..10 out of 10.

considering the poor technology they had to play with at the time, the effects in this film are truly amazing

The stair scene used to really scare because my room was right by the stairs! All you had to do was go up and walk to the left bit. Nosferatu is truly the mother of all vampire movies and the only one that ever scared me half to death!

on my playlist you can listen to the great music written for Nosferatu by Bernard J. Taylor
