Yes, I do remember Carmen, in fact they once played on the Midnight Special back in '73 or '74. Seems like every country in Europe had at least one band they were trying to push in the states Camen- Spain, Focus- Holland, PFM- Italy, etc. Anyway, I loved PFM, & they had me looking into other great Italian bands like Banco, Bigletto per L'inferno, Gleemen, etc.

It's not really that nobody remembers them: I think that once you know them, you never forget them. The problem is their albums were not easy to find here in Northern America. I was lucky enough to be friends with a guy who owned a small music store and he imported so many albums from so many unknown European groups... Now, do you know of Carmen and its Fandangos in Space? Hint, hint...

Wow I miss these guys and their great tunes. I've been a musician all my life - my old band used to play their music,Yes & others. But these guys were one of my all time faves! When I share about PFM almost nobody remembers them!Thanks for putting this up.

Great song! If you can listen the original version sung in italian(Appena Un Po')would be great. It's incredible sweet and epic.

hi-back when I was in high school (which might be ages ago for those of you who are here)-I had a guy at a college who was a friend and he had access and gave me the Italian version to Photos of Ghosts album, I lost it due to an idiot moment somehow and ever since been trying to find it again-can anyone help? Please??

Thanks Jeremy for sending! They are great musicians with obviously classical training. Like in good old wine, there is so much complexity and nuances here.
