mclaren yet again your not clear about Stalin. Stalin had never learned his own mistakes. Several problems existed with stalin during the war. Stalin killed his own comrades if they retreated and its not a great method of raising morale. Russians fought for their pride of the country not morale of the army. Russian had very low moral as an army. Second Stalin had been paranoid since the start of the war. He was always afraid of german spies and ordered to kill his own doctors for no reason.

yea British didnt do much with all those bombs. Same for Hitler using v2 rockets on london. But hey what do u noe, Americans repeated the same mistake in 1970 against Vietnam.

it wasnt the last chance to win mclaren. Germany has always fought a losing war. They though they had a comeback but never did. Who cares whether germans had good tactics and weapons? From the start of the war Germany lost. Germans never learned their own mistakes from wwI and Germans never had the resources to start with. They had great tanks, but not enough petro to run the army.

mclaren those statistics can be misleading when the u.s was fighting on the european continent the german forces were spead relatively equally between them.also the tactics used by russian commanders insured higher casualties on both sides of that theater.Its important to remember that russia had be fighting germany alone for the most part in 43.

The only reason the u.s decided to bomb at night in korea is because they had radar controlled bombsights at that time.The u.s also had night raids in the pacific theater of world war 2 ,which was before korea.They did this because they were using b-29s equipped with radar bombsights as opposed to the b-17/24s they were using in europe with nortons.Also after p-51s were introduced to the fight bomber casualties were cut by alot.

The u.s bombing raids were actually much more efective at taking out specific trgets like factories warehouses etc.The only real purpose the british raids served was to lower enemy morale( this proved to have quite the opposite effect in most cases).The u.s knew you actually had to see a target to hit it and didnt take pride in killing civilians unecessarily as the british did.

because the very essential battle of Kursk came up in 1943 and that was THE last chance for nazi germany to win against the Soviet Union. Hitler had not the time to wait for the tank designers to properly test the new tanks, they were urgently needed.Hitler really had no choice, and at the end of the war he greenlit all kinds of "wonderweapons".

true, but in the end it mattered little since most german tank divisions were in the east anyway, and most of them got destroyed there tooso the western allies should be grateful they met considerably less than they could have had the Soviets surrenderedalso,allied attack aircraft knocked out plenty of german tanks on the western frontthe british Centurion tank came some month too late too see action but it was by far the best tank of the western allies
