Police officers with box cutters showed up where St. Pete's tent city residents had moved and set up. The cops slashed their tents to the ground as residents watched in shock. Now one homeless group is moving to label St. Petersburg as the 'meanest city in the nation.' Video by Tina May. http://stpeteforpeace.org/tent...

That is seriously fucked up. These fucking cops and Mayor c88t rag Iorio are in serious need of an education. Maybe just to see a picture of the matchbox city in Central Park NY from '30-'44. What man....what kind of man...nay...what kind of inhuman animal so proud of his swinging rod could - that is COULD...(from what depth of frigid selfishness)...HOW COULD a man do this to his brother?

What an AWESOME FUCKING JOB! I would pay money to be able to do that to those societal leaches. Everyone is all for homeless rights until the lumps of shit want to crash next to them. The only mistake that was made was the cops not systematically killing every fucking hobo in sight.

those cops sure were protecting the public

I bet anything you would have a different attitude if one of these lazy homeless bums erected a tent on your yard and refused to leave. These officers should have went further and arrested every one of them for criminal trespassing. That is if they had fair warning to leave and refused.

The homeless, in this instance, are intruders and do not own the property they illegally erected tents onto. While the police should have arrested every one of them for criminal trespassing, I applaud them for what they did here--as long as they gave them plenty of opportunity to leave.

As long as the police gave adequate warning to these people, I am glad for what they did and would have even joined in. Vagrancy is illegal and the homeless do not have the right to erect a tent on property that isn't theirs--whether public or otherwise. Your fifth amendment argument undermines itself for it is the homeless who are intruding on another's property.

Put blame where blame is due. They are complicit accomplices. Even these goons wearing badges have the legal duty "NOT" to obey unlawful orders. The problem is that they receive militarized indoctrination/conditioning and NOT civil servant training.

blame the game?

DAMN! People... don't blame the cops.. Blame the people who tell them to do this bullshit.
