Maybe if some of those cops rode bike once in a while they wouldn't be so obese. What is the deal now with hassling bike riders? If more people rode bike it would help solve some of our problems.

That is how it *used* to be in NYC also, until the August 2004 critical mass ride which was at the same time as the Republican National Convention. From then on the cops went apeshit and have never let up, to this day.

In East Lansing the cops lead our critical mass rides and only ask that we keep moving. They even block intersections.

Amazing how a bunch of God Damn Pork Molestors, can turn A CONSTITITONAL right into something soviolent.

maybe if the police ONLY had bikes they might have a tiny bit of compassion for bicyclists. just a thought.police in kalamazoo michigan have told our critical mass to get off the streets and onto a sidewalk. hilarious.streets are for all. not just cars.

USA seems to be a VERY violent fucked up society as of the current times......

First of all, it's night. Nobody is trying to get to work. Secondly, in NYC there are traffic jams sometimes. Nobody has a right to not be affected by traffic. Thirdly the right to assemble and protest is a constitutionally protected right. However the bike ride is not really a protest, it's just a bike ride. |
